Compressor lubricant performs several jobs at the same time: lubrication, cooling, sealing and contamination management. The correct product depends on compressor type, manufacturer specification, operating temperature, service interval and the chemistry of the lubricant already in use.
Viscosity alone is not enough to confirm compatibility. Different lubricant base stocks and additive systems can behave differently when mixed. An apparently similar oil may affect foaming, deposit formation, elastomer compatibility, oxidation stability or separator performance.
For a lubricant enquiry, send the compressor brand/model, current lubricant name or part number, operating conditions and required quantity. If changing lubricant type, follow an approved changeover procedure from the equipment or lubricant manufacturer rather than simply topping up with a different product.
Transport note: whether a lubricant can travel by courier or air freight depends on the product-specific Safety Data Sheet, transport classification, packaging, quantity, route and carrier rules. CSP confirms the available shipping method after reviewing the exact product.
