A technical RFQ does not need to be long. It needs to contain the information that affects identification, price, lead time and shipment. Use the checklist below to reduce back-and-forth communication.
- Part reference - include every known part number, old reference or customer reference.
- Quantity - state required quantity per line item.
- Machine information - brand, model and serial number where compatibility matters.
- Product status - state whether you require genuine/original only, compatible alternatives are acceptable, or you want both options.
- Destination - country and postcode/city for freight planning.
- Timing - required delivery date or shutdown date.
- Technical attachments - nameplate, old-part photo, drawing or manual page when needed.
- Commercial reference - project name, buyer reference or PO reference if useful.
For bulk enquiries, use CSP Bulk Search and paste up to 500 references. Unmatched references should remain visible so they can be sent for identification instead of being silently discarded.
Technical information is provided for identification and procurement support only. Always follow the equipment manufacturer’s service, safety and installation instructions.
