Valves and electrical control components are among the easiest compressor parts to misidentify from appearance alone. Two solenoid valves can share the same body shape but differ in voltage, frequency, coil power, connector, port size, thread, pressure range or internal function. Sensors can share the same thread but use different signal ranges or electrical outputs.
For solenoid valves, send the complete valve and coil markings, voltage/frequency, connector type and port/thread information. For pressure and temperature sensors, send the full label, pressure or temperature range, electrical connector and thread or probe dimensions where available. For switches, include the switching range and electrical rating if shown.
For inlet, minimum-pressure, thermostatic, blowdown, check and safety-related valves, the machine model and serial number are particularly important. Do not substitute pressure-control or safety-related components solely on visual similarity.
